How To Use Our Arch Support Insoles

 

WEAR & CARE - How to apply your Stand Strong®  foot arch supports

  1. PEEL Remove the clear film from the bottom of the arch support insoles to expose the tacky surface
  2. STICK Start applying the foot support beneath the ball of the foot, then work it down towards the heel
  3. WEAR For a secure fit, step down on a hard surface and then place your foot into your shoe

FOOT PREP: For maximum benefit clean the foot with soap and water. Do not apply lotions or creams as this may compromise the amount of tackiness, which allows the device to stay in place all day. Remove flaky skin or calluses if possible.

REMOVAL: Starting at the top (rounded part at the ball of the foot) slowly peel the device off the skin and remove the entire foot arch support.

PERFECT PLACEMENT: Finding the “sweet spot” is key when applying your arch support insoles, and you should not experience pain while wearing them. If you do feel discomfort, you need to adjust the placement on your feet. Sometimes, shifting the foot support a few millimeters away from the painful area makes a big difference! The distal end (metatarsal) area of the foot support should be centered just behind the maximum convexity of the bulge, below the ball of the foot. However, that "center" varies slightly from person to person.

If any part of the skin becomes tender, uncomfortable or red areas appear, stop using the device and contact your health care provider or Stand Strong® directly for a solution. 

 

THE Stand Clean® ROUTINE

Just like contact lenses, remove your Stand Strong®  foot arch supports before bed. Use the sponge to gently clean the sticky sides with our Stand Clean® Daily Wash. Let your arches air dry face up overnight.

The next morning apply the sticky side of each arch to the soles of your freshly washed and dried feet. Oils, lotions, dirt and especially pet hair will make the arches lose stickiness and compromise their effectiveness.

When you're not using your Stand Strong® arch support insoles, stick each clean and dry arch support against the opposite side of the provided plastic divider. Sticky sides may permanently bond together if allowed to nest against one another.
